Mission Statement
The North Northwest RTAC is dedicated to fostering trauma awareness and coordinated care for the NNWRTAC through the cooperative evaluation of trauma and disaster care, EMS, Nursing, and Hospital Education, as well as serving as a clearing house for the dissemination of Trauma and Disaster related information locally, regionally, and statewide. By so doing, a regional trauma system that is data-based, confidential, and sensitive to the needs, limitations, and resources of the area shall be established. It is intended that this shall optimize the quality of care and outcomes for all trauma patients. This includes injury prevention, reducing the severity of injuries, and decreasing the number of deaths.
